>Ciao Nick e benvenuto al Cali Roma Baseball & Softball. Qual’è il tuo pensiero dopo sette gare?<
Grazie mille per avermi dato il benvenuto nella famiglia del Cali Roma Baseball & Softball! I miei pensieri dopo sette giornate? Adoro l’atteggiamento dei coaches e sopratutto dei nostri giocatori, tutti vogliono imparare per diventare giocatori migliori. Soprattutto ì coaches stanno allenando in modalità “selflessly”, non riguarda loro, riguarda i giocatori. I giocatori lo sentono e possono veramente rilassarsi e giocare al meglio delle loro abilità. Quello che spero di aggiungere a questo è l’importanza dell’immagine del giocatore, oltre ad insegnare loro il grande gioco del baseball. Prima di tutto, aiutare questi giovani a sentirsi a proprio agio con se stessi, avendo fiducia interiore per fare del proprio meglio, anche in caso di insuccesso. Il baseball e il softball ci insegnano la lezione più importante di tutte, non aver paura di fallire, che possono usare per il resto della loro vita dentro e fuori dal campo.
>Quali soluzioni avete in programma per migliorare?<
Come con qualsiasi squadra che abbia mai allenato, i fondamentali corretti sono essenziali. Sono stato fortunato e “scelto” nei miei tredici anni nella mia carriera professionale di allenatore di baseball, per essere stato istruito da alcuni grandi giocatori della grande lega. Insegnare il gioco nel modo giusto, sia mentalmente che fisicamente, è la cosa più importante. Lavoriamo su queste cose ogni giorno nella pratica.
>Cosa pensi di una realtà Baseball e Softball come la nostra?<
Penso sia grandioso! L’interesse sta crescendo e con il continuo impegno degli sponsor, allenatori e giocatori, continuerà a crescere!
>Nella preseason hai anche allenato le Caligilrs, raccontaci le tue curiosità o un fatto particolare<
Nella preseason ho avuto l’opportunità di lavorare con la squadra di softball! E ‘stato fantastico! Impressionante, gruppo di ragazze impegnate l’una con l’altra nell’allenamento e in gara! Cerco sempre di cercare ciò che c’è dentro il cuore di un giovane giocatore e vedo “il Grande Cuore” con i giocatori di Softball e di Baseball! Una cosa che mi ha colpito durante gli allenamenti delle ragazze è stato come le più grandi si prendevano cura delle giocatrici più giovani e inesperte, sono rimasto ammirato. Questo è molto importante per creare relazioni vere e creare il miglior “Team”, lavorare insieme senza soluzione di continuità…Bravissime!!!
> Come convincere qualcuno a giocare, o vedere una partita di baseball e/o softball?<
Dopo averlo sperimentato personalmente, dirò a tutti i miei amici e colleghi della filosofia del baseball e softball, la qualità delle persone coinvolte e la qualità delle squadre! Il futuro è luminoso per Baseball e Softball in Italia! La famiglia, il Baseball e il Softball…sono la vita!

>Hi Nick and welcome to Cali Roma Baseball & Softball. What is your thought after seven races? <
Thank you so much for welcoming me into Cali Roma Baseball and Softball family! My thoughts after seven games? I love the attitude of the coaches and the players the most……everyone wants to learn and become better players. Most importantly, the coaches are coaching “selflessly “……its not about them, it’s about the players. The players feel this and can truly relax and play to the best of their abilities. What I am hoping to add to this is the importance of the players self image….as well as teaching them the great game of baseball. Helping these young people to be comfortable with themselves first, by having an inner confidence to do your best …..even in failure. Baseball and softball teach us the most important lesson of all—-not being afraid to fail…..which they can use for the rest of their lives on and off the field.
>What solutions are you planning to improve? <
Solutions to make the team better? As with any team I have ever coached, the correct fundamentals are essential. I have been blessed in my professional baseball coaching career, thirteen years and counting, to have been taught by some great major league players. Teaching the game the right way, both mentally and physically, is most important. We work on these things every day in practice.
>What do you think of a Baseball and Softball reality like ours?<
What do I think of the reality of Baseball/Softball in Italy? I think it’s great! The interest is growing…..and with the continued commitment to the programs from the sponsors, coaches and players, it will only continue to grow!
>In the preseason you also coached the Caligilrs, tell us your curiosity or a particular fact<
This preseason I had the opportunity to work with the softball team ! It was great! Awesome group of young women committed to each other and the game! I ALWAYS try to look for what’s inside a young players heart first…..and I see “the Grande Cuore” with both the Softball and Baseball players! One thing that stood out to me during the girls practices, was how the older girls looked after the younger players……wow. This is SO important in creating true relationships and in creating the best “Team”….working seamlessly together….Bravissime……
>How to convince someone to play, or watch a baseball game and / or softball?<
How would I attract someone to come to watch a game of Baseball/Softball in Italy? After experiencing it myself, I will tell all my friends and baseball associates, about the quality of the people involved and the quality of the teams! The future is bright for Baseball and Softball in Italy! La famiglia, il Baseball e il Softball….sono la vita!
